Does an injury or pain limit your yoga practice? Returning to yoga and activity after an injury can be worrisome - each sensation you feel may have you questioning if you're movements are helping or harming your body. Good news… our 'Yoga for Injuries' 4 class series is designed specifically with you in mind. Taught by Dr. Jessica Klain PT, DPT, a certified yoga instructor and doctor of physical therapist in Denver, CO, she understands the complexity of pain and injuries as well as the biomechanics of yoga practice. Modifications, alignment cues, and alternative poses will be plentiful to ensure your safety and enjoyment in your yoga practice.

Yoga can help you recovery from injury and prevent new injuries by improving body position awareness (proprioception), self awareness of body sensations and movements, and build strength and resiliency for your mind and body. Everyone's injury recovery is different, that is why this class is capped at 15 participants to ensure you have the attention you need to succeed. Participation can be in-person (Denver, CO in Washington Park neighborhood) or online via Zoom (live or recorded).
Classes will be held the first 4 Mondays in January 2022 at 5:15pm.
