Concussion, Vestibular
& Dizziness

At Physio, Yoga & Wellness we believe in a precise, patient-centered, and holistic recovery path. Here’s how we do it:

1. Thorough Assessment

​

  • Detailed history of symptom onset, triggers, and patterns

  • Testing of ocular motor and vision function

  • Vestibular and balance function

  • Cervical spine (neck) mobility and biomechanics

  • Movement and posture evaluation

  • This gives us the full picture: which systems are contributing and how they interact.

2. Vestibular & Balance Rehabilitation

Depending on your findings, treatment may include:

  • Canalith repositioning maneuvers (e.g. Epley) for BPPV

  • Gaze stabilization / ocular motor training to improve vision-vestibular coordination

  • Habituation & adaptation exercises to desensitize motion triggers

  • Balance retraining & proprioceptive work

  • Compensation strategies (teaching your brain new ways to use available sensory inputs)

​3. Cervical & Musculoskeletal Treatment​

We often address the neck (cervical spine) because dysfunction there can amplify dizziness. Techniques may include joint mobilization, manual therapy, soft tissue work, and posture / movement corrections.

4. Integrative Support & Return to Activity

As symptoms stabilize, we guide you back into daily movement, exercise, and sport via safely progressed protocols. We believe full recovery comes from strengthening your body, calming your nervous system, and supporting overall health.  A holistic treatment approach is personalized based on your needs and can include yoga, nutrition, exercise, sleep hygiene, stress management, and lifestyle optimization to help reduce inflammation, support brain healing, and improve long-term wellness.
